Julekort nr 2/ Christmascard #2

I went to a crop this Saturday and all I brought was stuff to make Christmas cards. I managed to do 11, all of them with different design. Not bad?

The Caardvark Challenge inspired me to try something new. Can you make a Christmas Crad with ribbons? Oh, yes! Some tacky tape, a small piece of actate and small part of ribbons - that's all you need. And a beautiful button. I'll do this for more Chrismas cards this year that's for sure!

BTW, the next post in this blog is my 200th. Wow. I can smell a blog candy coming up *lol*

Jeg var på scrappetreff på lørdag. Jeg hadde bestemt meg for å starte på julekortene, så jeg tok ikke med utstyr for annet enn det. Jeg lagde 11! På et treff! Ny rekord for meg.

Jeg fikk en idé ut fra den siste utfordringen på Caardvarks: kan man lage julekort av bånd? Å jada! Litt tosidig tape, en bit acetat, noen båndrester er alt som trengs. Ja og så en pen knapp, da. Jeg kommer til å lage flere slike julekort i år, det er sikkert!

Confession Time

I admit it - I'm a sucker for attention. Small pieces of fame and glory makes me smile. I have smiled today. I discovered that Kaisercraft featured one of my layouts on their blog.

I have another confession: I don't make layouts or cards to become famous, I do it for fun, because I like it and to document our family life. But I don't mind that others like my work, too.

Oh, there is a third confession: I love challenges. They make me to try out new stuff and tecniques and sometimes even step out of my comfort zone.

This card, made for the ongoing Caardvark Challenge (ribbons) is in my comfort zone, but made me try something new: to make a ribbon flower. I have never tried it before, but it was quite easy. All you need is a ribbon, a needle and some thread. Did you notice the tag? I bought an outfit a while ago, and kept the tag - I thought it was perfect for a card. I'm hoarding all kinds of NiceToHave stuff (the forth confession?)... The greating is French and says "But where is it, the sun?".
