It has been a fun ride to be at the Cardabilities DT, but it has come to an end (for this time).

We would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "'It's December.. " however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch below. Please make sure that we see some sort of journalling on your layouts and please tell us where your journalling is . Hidden journalling is perfectly fine.

Welcome to another fun sketch from Cardabilities!

Here is my take on it:

 Did you notice the chicken wire on the card? It's a stamp I have made by using the Photocentric Teresa Collins Stamp Maker. You see, fellow Cardabilities DT member Petra Ofrell is also in the DT at Photocentric, who has teamed up with Teresa Collins to develop the Stamp Maker. I had the chance to try it out at Petra's house a while back, and I'm telling you - this stamp maker is on my wish list! If you want to see how it works, click here.

Happy news, a new giveaway and a winner

Hi.

I admit it - I love waking up to happy (scrappy) news. So when I woke up one morning this week and found an e-mail saying I was accepted for the Cardabilities DT from September 15th I was thrilled. In fact, this is the first Cards Only design team I'm on, all others have been about layouts or a mix.

Here is what Cardabilities is about:

The Sketch blog that will challenge you to get out of your

comfort zone when it comes to paper and embellishments.

We hope that while you are here we can encourage you to get more
comfortable with your supplies and get you creating wonderful cards and projects.

We are an international sketch challenge blog and encourage scrappers and
crafters internationally to take part in our regular reveals. We have
an international Design Team that will create a projects based on the current
sketch that just might give you the push you need.

On the 15th and 30th of every month, we will release a

brand new sketch which you will have about 2 weeks to complete.

We ask you to upload your project to your blog or online

gallery and link to our linky tool located at the bottom each reveal.
