Folded Mini Album Tutorial

Hi.

Do you ever make mini albums?
I don't do them often, but some times I have a happening to tell about, and my photos are too many, or I have too much to tell, to fit it into a layout, even two pager. Mini albums are perfect for those occations!

I'm going to show you a folded mini album, but first I must show you some fun stuff that arrived on my door step yesterday:

Have yourself a bloomin’ good time with the lush May Nook kit! Echo Park This ‘n That papers compliment a wide range of springy embellishments- ruffles and canvas butterflies and jewels come together to indulge the senses and tickle the fancy of any girl! You will love the delicate details, paired with whimsical shades of happy combining for the perfectly playful, feminine delight!

I have dug through the papers, and there are papers perfect for masculine layouts and cards, too!

And I got the May Grab Bag, too, with more fabolous Echo park This'n That papers, the more masculine range. Make sure to read about the fabolous May offer below the photo!

May Special: Join in May and receive June for FREE along w/a free June Grab Bag. You only pay the shipping for your free kit and grab bag!!!! You will also receive another free kit after 12 paid months!!! Two FREE kits and a grab bag when you sign up for 12 months!!!!! You can order here. Photo of June grab bag coming soon.

Now, back to the Mini Album.

I made this 3*6" album with the Nook April Kit, featuring Crate Paper Story Teller.

When you unfold it, it looks like this:

Are you curious about how I made it/folded?
I have a complete tutorial at the Nook Forum, you are more than welcome to visit to see :-)

Do you want to give it a try?

Norway in a Nutshell

A lot of foreigners visit Norway each year to explore the country, a lot of them the western part with deep fjords, steep mountains and lots of history. My dad lives in this part of the country, so we take a trip over the mountains every second year (I live in the eastern part of the country), a ten hour drive.

This year we extended our trip with a few days to explore of the parts we usually just pass through. And as usual we took lots of photos, 500+. And where do you start to scrap all these photos? It's over whelming...

So I decided to look at our trip from another angel. I decided to do more journaling, and use less photos. I mini version of Norway In A Nutshell (for those of you who doesn't know, this a travel agency specializing in trips that show off the best of the west, in a very time saving way).

The Jenni Bowlin Mini Album from MyScrapbooknook September Kit was perfect.I saved the pages in the kit for my journaling, but used one of them as templetate for the pages with photos on. The design is simple and the same on all pages, giving this mini an uniform look. A doodled line around all the pages makes this mini look well decorated :-)

1. desember!!!

Men ukene går fort.

I always look forwad to advent - a very importent month for the Norwegians when it comes to counting down to christmas: all the lights, both indoor and outdoor, making stuff, decorating, family for long meals, good friends visiting, the tree, baking, cards wich makes me keep in touch with family and friends.

But these weeks pass so quickly. This year I decided to make a mini album before christmas rather then after: 25 days in December. I'll take pictures to fill in every day, and write some lines about what we do these days. I hope, by having finished the base of the album already, that I'm able to finish this project.

Minialbum 6*8

Den årlige pappaturen går av stabelen i august. Mødre har ikke adgang! Det var så mange bilder jeg hadde lyst å bruke, at det ble et eget lite album.

The annual trip with the dads in the neighbourhood takes place in august. No mums allowed! There were so many pictures I wanted to use, so I chose to make a small album.
