I have journaled!!!
I struggle when it comes to journaling, I admit it. I think it's hard to find room for the journaling, my hand writing is ugly, I'm not sure what to tell etc etc - in other words I have lots of excuses :-) I also struggle with flowers on my layouts. I usually make masculine layouts, and for me flowers are feminin, no matter which color thay have, and I just can't make it fit. But I love when others do it! So I am going to challenge myself this spring. I'm going to journal more, and I have ordered flowers! And I am going to use the Once Upon A Sketch challenge blog to start me journaling: journaling is one of the criterias in their challenges, not using a sketch only. So here is my take on their April 1th challenge: The title means "Really lousy poker face" and the journaling is about the look DS8 gets on his face whenever he tries to lye - he has no poke face at all!

Absolutely love your page and take on the sketch!! I also struggle with journalling especially of the hand written kind..:) Love how you have combined both! Wonderful to see you at Once Upon.... too! :)

Beautiful page! I totally relate to you about the difficulty in using flowers on my boy pages....it just does not look right on MY pages.
Writing will be a lot easier if you let yourself write as you speak...I think that's the biggest hurdle to get over--silencing that grammar school teacher in your head :D!

I have a boy so I totally understand you....but I got past the flowers are for girls and have actually scrapped a layout of my son with flowers and pink...believe it or not!!!
