Dexterious (OUAS/CSI Challenge)

Just like last week, OUAS and CSI has teamed up again, and so will the two challenge blogs do for another two weeks.

Here is the CSI file to be solved this week, along with the OUAS sketch.

I just love this smashing color combo and the great ideas in Evidence and Testimony. I knew exactly what I wanted to scrap about when I saw the challenge.

This layout shows a model motor bike DS9's built- he has such great manual dexterity. "Fingernem" in Norwegian means Dexterious.

Patterned papers & brads: Kaiser Craft. Buttons: Epiphany Crafts
Stitch stamps: CloseToMyHeart. Cogs & alpha: LifeStyle dies. The rest: unknown

The journaling is written as a diary entry and says: "Tuesday September 11th: The model bike I bought on Saturday is now assembled. I think there must have been at least 200 parts and I did the most of it all by myself. It was off course fiddly, but I'm very happy with the result. I wonder what to build next?"

Here is how I solved the case:
  • Colors: all five used
  • Sketch: OK
  • Evidence: Stripes and dots (patterned paper, washi tape, brads), circles (faux stritched circles, check board cicle, cogs, metal embellies, brads), buttons (Blue bottons)
  • Testimony:Journaling as a diary entry.

For a multiple chance to win awesome prizes, log onto the challenge blogs, participate and upload to both sites!

Happy scrapping!
